December 12, 2019: India & South Asia managing director of French train maker Alstom, Alain Spohr announced that the company will be doubling the capacity of its manufacturing units in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh from 240 to 480 cars per year. He was talking at an event marking the commencement of the production of metro train sets for Mumbai Metro-3 which is expected to be delivered by November 2020.
